The Design Process

As a team at Hock Hai, we approach every interior design project with the following steps:​

• Requirements Gathering: Our first step is to gather information from the client regarding their requirements, goals, and preferences. We ask questions to understand their functional requirements for the space, as well as their budget, timeline, and any other constraints that may impact the project.

 

• Space Planning: Once we have a clear understanding of the client's requirements, we move on to space planning. This involves developing a layout and flow that will meet the client's functional requirements while also creating a visually appealing design. We consider factors such as traffic patterns, furniture placement, and lighting to create a space that is both functional and comfortable.

• Design: The final stage of the interior design process is the design phase. During this stage, we select colors, materials, finishes, and furniture to create a cohesive design that meets the client's preferences and style. We consider the architectural features of the space, as well as any existing decor, to ensure that the design complements the existing elements. Throughout the design phase, we work closely with the client to ensure that the design meets their expectations and is aligned with their vision for the space.
